Rewatching the last ep of Madoka… \QwQ/
Aaand the last of my AX pieces. I watched all three Madoka movies while working on the other prints. In the middle of Rebellion, I already knew I had to do something from it. Unfortunately, it ended up being kinda unrecognizable, but it’s still my personal favorite of everything I did, probably because the idea and composition came so easily to me.
Last week, Lawson, a popular Japanese convince store, began to give out small figurines featuring the Magical Girls of Madoka on all fours dressed in traditional Japanese PE uniforms. Most likely, the idea was to assemble the girls in a cheerleader pyramid position. So of course Japanese people did everything but that.

"Tell me, is this really so bad? We don’t have to fight anyone. We can all live, working together. Is the heart that wished for that so sinful that it needs to be destroyed?"
劇場版 魔法少女まどか☆マギカ 指輪 魔法少女ﾓﾁｰﾌ透かしPuella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie Magical Girl Motif Openwork Ring (JP sizes 11 & 13 available)
From Movic, 2000 yen + tax. August 2014 release.
Pink gold plated. Studded with rhinestones.
Ring design incorporates Madoka’s ribbon, Homura’s gears, Mami’s ribbon, Sayaka’s musical notes, and Kyoko’s apple.
If you look at the cards on the right, you’ll see a “thread of fate” kind of thing tied to each of their pinkies, connecting them to each other. The only knot you can’t really see is the one tied to Madoka’s, but you can still see Homura’s. Homura also seems to be reaching more to grab Madoka’s arm. Maybe it really is more of a one-sided love for them?
